Should I keep internet explorer now that I have firefox?

Answers:    You can't uninstall it so just don't use it unless you have to.

Firefox is superior in so many ways.
You can always keep IE on your PC, as windows now allows you to set any browser as the default. You just need to open firefox and it should ask you if you want to switch it to the default browser. (This will still keep IE on your machine, although there are methods which allow you to remove IE).

It would probably be a good idea to keep IE on your machine, due to browser compatibility issues. i.e some pages are displayed differently in IE to Firefox. Also there may be features such as addons which may not be avaliable for either browser you want to use.
You have to keep it. I have both and only use IE to download files from web sites that won't accept Firefox or to go on certain websites that only allow IE. You should set Firefox as your primary browser. If you later start IE it will tell you that it is not the default browser and ask if you want to make it the default browser say no. I wouldn't check the box that says don't ask me about this again just because I'm a belt and suspenders guy when it comes to computers.
DO NOT DELETE Here is why:

Remove Internet Explorer from Windows
Although uninstalling Internet Explorer from Windows is possible, you are strongly advised not to remove IE, for a number of reasons [1]:

Many web sites are programmed to work only with Internet Explorer. For example, webmasters authoring a site may have not tested with other web browsers. The majority of websites on the Internet should work with Mozilla browsers, but there are some sites that appear distorted or inaccessible unless IE is used as a browser.
Windows Update requires Internet Explorer. As an alternative, you may be able to manually download security updates, but it will require more monitoring and work than letting Windows Update handle this for you.
Some applications depend on libraries installed by Internet Explorer. These applications may no longer work or they may behave unexpectedly if IE is removed.
Some anti-virus products require IE for updates. Live updates or automatic DAT updates used by both Norton and McAfee are built on Internet Explorer's foundation. You may be able to manually update your virus signature files but it could require more work.
Both removing and restoring IE is risky and difficult. IE is complex with extensive hooks built into Windows, for efficiency and functionality. Thus unplugging it from your system may impact Internet connectivity, Windows functionality, and break functionality in Microsoft Office and non-MS products.
IE is more than a browser, it is the foundation for Internet functionality in Windows.
Yes, keep IE; it's woven into the entire operating system & deleting it would be a nightmare & cause system errors beyond comprehension.
You'll need IE to download Microsoft updates (Firefox normally won't allow 'Active X' which is needed for the operation of the update scan of your system by Microsoft).
Firefox is a dandy browser, expecially if you get the ad-on called "NoScript" (there are lots of others). This keeps your system super safe.
Keep it but make Fire Fox your default browser

IE is too integrated into the OS for most people to un install properly (without messing things up)
some website, like explorer better, and some Microsoft web products require it but if you don't use any of them... it wouldn't hurt.
yes. Sometimes when you download files it requires internet explorer. You should keep i tjust in case.
Internet Explorer is essential to Windows. Don't even try to delete it.
yeah u should keep it in case for an emergency
u never know
i kept my internet explorer
