Yahoo messenger/firefox issue?



               

               2.0.0.6 for Windows,Mac,Linux

Question:I have Windows Vista, and installed the latest Firefox browser...I also have the latest yahoo messenger. After installing FF all the links in my messenger stopped working. I uninstalled FF and restored my comp to an earlier date...Messenger works OK then. Reinstalled FF and Messenger links stop working again.
What is the issue with FF?

Answers:
I checked the Firefox support at mozilla, and the only interoperability issue they have listed is Firefox crashing when Y! Messenger is installed.
