Why on God's earth would you want to remove and prevent cookies? You will be unable to log into websites that require cookies to authenticate you, you will not be able to get rich information from websites that require cookies to remember you. You will have trouble logging into FireFoxAnswer.coms, your internet banking and even sites you can use will not work properly. Have a research on what cookies actually are at http://www.howstuffworks.com/cookie.htm... before you go off half-cocked and try to stop them, you'll find they do a lot more good than your concerns about privacy warrant.
