its a little extension known as Speed Dial
it lets you save up to 9 pages and then it will create a webpage displaying windows to all of them. you can then set that page to your home page.
I don't think so. You can set it to keep tabs open after you close it, so you can start where you left off in your browsing. That's what I usually do.
