How do I install Firefox 2.0.0.4 on my Apple eMac running Mac OSX?

Question:I need a clear explanation...I have moved it into my Applications folder but when I check to see if it is installed I find that I am still running the prior version of Firefox.

Answers:
go to applications folder, and drag the firefox icon to the trash. Go download the newest version of firefox and install it. ONce the icon is on your desktop, drag it over to your applications folder and then you can delete it from your desktop.
