Answers: I love the new browser and I think it's going to kill IE. It's just a better browser all together - and super fast. My favorite things about it is that it runs Javascript code much faster and that makes Google docs so much better!
It's working great for me as we speak, and I'm a die hard Firefox user!
a browser is not google's field.... !! WHAT is going on. I dont think it will be better than firefox or opera. because it is not their field. Besides i bet the browser will have too many google addons and apps. and will be concentrated on google itself . I wouldnt like it. Google is pushing itself on everything. to be honest with you i still prefer yahoo search over google. I Don't really understand what google is trying to do. They Have a big parrt of firefox , Now they wanna compete with it? WHat the hell! They are even working on their OWN operating system. Even tho gOS ( green OS) is concentrated on google. But hell they even wanna make their Own. Google is Doing too big for it to handle itself. IT STARTED OFF WITH JUST A WEB SEARCH DATABASE and now? IT is all over. even tho i dont use google services that often it is still the largest internet business !
OMFG! I was expecting a browser better than IE (which isn't hard to do...), but about the same as Firefox. I was WRONG! It is way faster than Firefox, and a lot more secure! I love this freaking browser, and can't wait until Firefox starts implementing the open source code of Chrome into itself. Pretty good fopr a brand new browser that I didn't hear about until late last night!
Yes, I think it is and I think it is the best browser you can get and the best browser that I have. It is really fast, great look and overall best web browser. I would tell anyone to get this web browser. And reason you can't download it for mac or other OS is because they just released it and there working on a version for mac and other OS. But they will have on really soon.
It's unquestionably faster than Firefox, but until it features the level of A) customization, B) Add-On support, C) options, it will be second fiddle.
To me, it's more of an awesome tech demo than fully realized browser at the moment. But I have a sneaking suspicion that's the entire point...
appearances would say so, but then i found out there is no support for mac. gosh if google is so innovative you think they would make their browser for other OSes, which firefox has the brains to do.

Yes. Because they've built this browser from scratch, using some very nice new concepts. Firefox is based on Mozilla, which is ancient.
If you listen to Google it is.....Nobody I know of has seen any part of it yet
