Does anyine else notice that Safari 3 is slower than Firefox?

Question:I mean A LOT slower than Firefox. This is on XP/Vista does anyone have the same problem? And is there a way to fix the dark fuzzy ness of the text?

I had noticed the same things with Safari, slow, dark fuzzy print. I downloaded some recommended plug ins, didn't help. I'm an old guy, barely have any programs on the computer, so I can't think there is something interfering with it. I uninstalled it.

Safari3 on Windows is a BETA.

BETA means experimental software and testing phase. It is not going to be as fast because it is still in a testing phase. Use at your own risk.

I have Safari2 on Mac OS 10.4 and it is very very fast. The reason why firefox "feels" faster is because it stores the web pages you visit in the RAM. Notice how quickly the pages come up when you click the back/forward buttons? If you like that, also check out how much RAM it's hogging in task manager.
