Answers:
Firefox is a web browser, just like Internet Explorer but much better. It's free and you can download it from
http://mozilla.com/
Firefox is relatively easier to tweak, and far more robust than Internet Explorer. It has many add-on features which can be downloaded and used for free!! The only hitch is that you will still require Internet Explorer as your 'default browser' to keep your Windows and some other software updated and stuff like that. Firefox won't replace or remove your IE.

Mozilla Firefox is another browser, it does not work with Internet Explorer and is independent. It will not replace IE if u dont want it to, u can have both browsers running at the same time if u want.
Firefox is just another internet browser, like internet explorer. And like internet explorer, doesn't interpret HTML code as correctly as it should be. It runs separate of Internet explorer, and it will NOT replace it. You'll still have the IE program there if you install Firefox.

Also note, that some sites require you be using Internet Explorer in order to view their sites, as firefox reads some web page coding different than IE, and some sites designed for Internet Explorer may not work for Firefox, and vice versa.
It won't replace Internet Explorer. You will have the option to choose Explorer or firefox. Firefox is a supplement to explorer. It has a firewall connected to it stronger pop-up blocker, hackers have a harder time getting into it so it is safer. Less spam and pop-ups.
Hello:

Firefox is a Web browser all unto itself. It does not need Internet Explorer. It has it's own software to load and render Web pages. It is built differently than IE to be based more on standard HTML, XML, etc. In other words, it was designed to comply with the languages and definitions that make up the purer Internet building tools. It behaves, from the toolbars and such, much the same way. But it renders pages better in many instances and it is safer to use, most of the time, than IE.
I like it better than Internet Explorer I use it all the time.
Just give it a go if you don't like it uninstall it. You can use Internet Explorer at the same time.
