Make sure that you're using the most current version of Firefox, which I believe is 1.5.

There may also be some missing plug ins or extensions too, so if you see any warning bars or msgs from Firefox, then you need to install those. Other then that, you can clear your private data, cookies and cache, and see if that helps.
