Flash player does not operate in firefox?

Question:I could use everything in IE6 but in firefox when I tried playing Yahhoo Chess it said - Yahoo! Chess requires Flash Player 7 or later and JavaScript enabled in your browser. What do I do?

Download Adobe Flash Player 9 Offline installer for Firefox from this direct link:

A bar should appear at the top of the page with a button to install flash. Click that and follow the directions. At the end you'll have to restart Firefox.
I am sure there is a plugin/add-on for Firefox that will allow flash to run.
