Firefox Dictionary (Spell Checker)?

I accidentally added a misspelled word to my Firefox spell checker. Does anyone know how I can erase it?

Yes you'll have to edit the dictionary for that.

First of all close Firefox and go to your Firefox profile. For that click on start > run. Here type %appdata% and hit OK. This will open the application data folder or the appdata\roaming folder if you're in vista.

From here browse to Mozilla \ Firefox \ Profiles \ xxxxxxx.default (this is your profile folder of firefox)

In here you'll find the file persdict.dat . Open this file with notepad or any text editor of your choice. Here delete whatever words you don't want.

Now startup firefox and you'll be fine
