Firefox has a built in anti-phishing (spoofed or forged sites) tool. with sites that are automatically updated You can't or don't need to add to it.
When you select the option "check using downloadable list of suspect sites" it will automatically use the build in list updated every 15 minutes ( which provides more privacy then constantly checking with google).
To see if it is working go http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-tra...
If you want more protection you have to add a third party app or extension.

With the Firefox anti-phishing feature enabled by default in firefox 2.x , the websites which you browse are automatically checked against a list of known phishing sites which is automatically downloaded every 30 minutes or so, onto your computer. If you select the other option (check by google), the sites which you visit are checked against the fraudulent site database maintained by Google.
You could also try certain anti-phishing extensions if you like.

Another good one is PhishTank site checker https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox...
