How do you create a shortcut and add sites to your desktop using Mozilla Firefox?

Question:

Answers:
I just go to the site, then take my mouse up to the address bar. Hover your mouse over the to the left of the "http"; the icon will change to a hand. Just left click and hold it down, drag the mouse over to the desktop, where it will turn into a shortcut arrow. Now let go of the mouse button. You now have a shortcut! You can rename the shortcut anything you want to: just click on it once to be able to do that. Renaming it will allow you acces to the site but allow you to make the name as short as you want.

I often keep a pile of shortcuts in a folder for sites I visit occasionally, but for the most frequent sites, I put them in the Bookmarks tab right in Firefox.

Good Luck... :)

If I understand your question ...

Let's assume you're using Firefox to look at this page right now. Look at the address bar. There's a little symbol to the left of the http://blahblahblah.......
Make sure your browser is not maximized (you can see part of the desktop), then drag that symbol onto the desktop. Next time you click on that new icon you've created, it will open Firefox with that page automatically open in a tab. Simple.
download ff extension deskcut. you will now have deskcut in your right click menu. right click the webpage and choose deskcut, zingo, done
