Question:several websites that i go to have problems loading when they try to connect to "ad.doubleclick.net" the page takes about 10 minutes to load whenever whatever "ad.doubleclick.net" is, is on it. i use firefox but i get the same results when i swith to IE, ive diabled all my spyware and cookie blockers but it STILL doesnt work. how do i fix this, and if anyone knows where their office is, could someone go punch out their CEO?

You could set up a hosts file on your computer, and include "doubleclick.net" in the list of sites to be blocked.
we been looking for them for years, it is easier just to let the window pop up and then close it
I really understand your problem and I've also been looking for a solution, banner ads that are held on external websites are a real pain in the butt as the page tries to contact that site for the ad! ad.tribalfusion.com is another culprit and can stop the page loading until the ad appears! The only way so far I've found to partially prevent this happening in Firefox is to select 'Load Images from the Originating Website Only' option under content and select exceptions like firefoxanswer.coms (otherwise you won't see the Avatars or Questions buttons). Wash your computer. Ad-aware, Spybot-sd, and definitely Spywareblaster, then set up a "host" file. I assume you all ready have AVG running ahead of ZoneAlarm, and with the other 4 above, the only other trick would be to get MS's "tweakui" and use both it and Spywareblaster to set up your back ups. And if you are near "geeky" also get "hackthis".
