FireFox extension download helper?

               2.0.0.6 for Windows,Mac,Linux

Question:Is download helper open source? if so where can I download the source code?

Answers:
Download helper is not technically open source.

However, if you have the extension downloaded already you can look in (on windows) Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\...

Try to figure out which of the extensions directories goes with the Download Helper extensions, you can check the chrome directory and look for dwhelper.jar, that means that you're in the right place.

You can then open that with a zip program (if it doesn't work by default, make a copy and rename it dwhelper.zip). Jar files are the same as zip files.

You can dig around in there, its all javascript and xml files. Whatever your looking for should be somewhere in those directories.
