"Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage" appears in Firefox?

               2.0.0.6 for Windows,Mac,Linux

Question:That's RIGHT - how come Firefox surfs webpages via IE7? This has never happened with IE6 before. I have the habit of just typing in keywords in the address bar in firefox, like type in "google" and go direct into "Google", or wikipedia to go to "Wikipedia", but now all it does is appear as an IE page saying "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage". How does that happen? Thanks

Many people do not know this, but you can install a third-party addon to Firefox to allow it to open up new links in a separate tab using Internet Explorer to render the new tab. As far as the error message not displaying a webpage, you can get that type of message in any major browser.

Or, you could be confused and you are using IE when you think you are using Firefox. Take your pick.

try adding ".com " or something
