my yahoo web page keeps lockingup espcially when I am doing video searchs or going to their forums?

any ideas why? It is a pain to feel like you have dropped back to dial up or even have to close browser to free it up. I will usualy use firefox, but will cut over to explorer to make sure it is not that when it gets real bad. My computer is a P4 2.0mhz with a gig of ram geforce vid care with 128 mg of ram and a 5.1 sound system, I think it should all work ok with todays technology, but man it can get to be a pain. Is yahoo just getting cheap with the bandwith or should I be making adjustments, like losing them.
