Question:about a month ago, my computer started blocking everything from being downloaded from the internet, including windows update, saying invalid digital signature. I have done a total wipe of my hdd and reinstalled windows, and it is still doing it. Is anyone else having this problem, or does anyone know how to fix it? I even installed IE 7 and firefox. Those didn't work either.
If you are using a firewall disable the firewall and check are ur the administrator of the computer and u have all the rights to download, and repair ur IE,delete the cookies, clear the history, delete the Temp files

and try to run a anti spyware program in the computer,
if ur using a cable connection try to go to safe mode with networking and try to download the product and make sure ur pop-up blocker is disable,
and use only the IE5.5 or above version and plz dont use IE7.0 Beta Edition becouse i am working in the microsoft windows beta edition i know that IE7.0 has some bug and right now its under test progress so
use only IE6.0

if you wiped your hard drive and reloaded everything, and it's still doing it, then the problem lies beyond the computer.
If you have a high speed connection to the Internet, you may have an issue with the firewall set up on your modem. There are rules that you can set up so that the firewall will block certain types of connections. If this is the case, then simply go into your modem configuration, and edit the firewall rules.
You can also do a hard reset of your modem. On most models there is a "reset" button that takes a pen or a paper clip to press. This erases every custom thing done and restores it back to the default factory settings.
note: be sure to get your ISP user name and password BEFORE you reset or you can't get back onto the Internet.
