I can't view the new yahoo page, why?

               2.0.0.6 for Windows,Mac,Linux

Question:I get this message,
" In order to see all the new Yahoo! home page has to offer, please upgrade to a more recent browser.

Supported browsers include:
Internet Explorer 7 (Beta 2) optimized by Yahoo!
Internet Explorer 6
Firefox 1.5
Safari 2.0 "

I had IE 6 before and it didn't work so I decided to install the new IE 7 beta and it still won't show up.

It's like it thinks I have a version even under IE 6 like IE 5 because when I go to windows update it tells me I need to update my IE to 5 or higher despite having IE 7?

I don't know what to do anymore, it's really frustrating!

Answers:
You need to go into Internet Options>General tab and Delete Cookies, Files and History. Then go to the Advanced tab and click Restore Defaults. Click Apply. Now go to the Security Tab and click Default Level.

One last item. Some sites do not support IE 7 yet, so you need to fool them into thinking you are using IE 6. Here is a little program that will do that. Click on "Internet Explorer 6" link. Close IE 7 and reopen. If everything starts working ok and you want to go back to IE 6, just uninstall IE 7 in add/remove programs and IE 6 will come back automatically.

upgrade to IE7
It makes me sick when Yahoo changes its page.

Its like when the cable company changes its chanals.

When you finally get used to it,and know where every thing is, They change it.

I say download a new browser or upgrade .
