How do I embed a pic within an email instead of attaching it using Mac osx?

I want to send a pic that people will see in the email instantly rather than having to download an attachment, I use firefox primarily to send mail & Im on a Mac pc OSX, if that helps

yahoo mail prefs didnt seem to give me the info Im looking for

Drag and drop. The reason why they may not see it without download it may be due to their browser or mail application. Yahoo does not allow e-mails without being attached. It's a security issue.
