I run IPCOP on a separate boxen, at 50 mhz to 400 Mhz, it filters out all spam (Spamassassin) and stops the evil domains, and bad web pages, (content filter, Dan's Guardian) for up to 10 computers. and when I hook up in a school, each 36 clients are on a separate IPCOP boxen of 800Mhz speed!
http://ipcop.org runs on any 486 or better, with 32 to 64 Mb RAM, and a 1 Gb to 20 Gb drive. No monitor, keybd. mouse... Remote admin, from anywhere in the world. Why not? folks are tossing out really great computers, onto the curb!
And, I make the school computers all Linux boxes, (they all run 50X faster, than they did on M$!), while the secretary, and admin. staff section of the school can remain on their virus boxes!

hi, I don't think there are free and very good anti-virus on the internet.
but i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
