viewing chinese text on hk.yahoo.com?

i have xp and am using firefox. i'm trying to view
chinese text on hk.yahoo.com, but it comes out all in
question marks. i tried changing the settings on firefox: view->character encoding-, but it
doesn't work. do i need to download special software?

There's a select your language tab for if you DON'T have office XP, and if you DO have office XP you just click the link "Global IMEs for Office XP".
