Call your internet provider and have a tech person walk you through the settings for Explorer
Check your firewall settings.
You might need a good IE cleanup. CCleaner is a decent and FREE application that can do this effectively. Download and run the program and see if it fixes your IE Internet access problem.

Empty your cache, defrag and do disk clean up to your computer. See if that helps.
Oh and check to see if IE's pop up blocker is on, you may need to adjust the settings.
Me too. I use Firefox when that happens. IE6 won't let me access certain password sites. Says my browser won't accept cookies even though they're enabled. I've checked all the settings and they're fine. I don't know what's up. I suspect it has something to do with Norton, but I've checked everything I can think of and it's fine. ??

Find IE.inf and right click to re-install it. It usually is in the \Windows\inf folder, but sometimes ends up in the \windows\sytem folder. The other suggestions about emptying your history and cookies will help.
