mozzilla firefox question?

when using mozilla fire fox, a new tab will open itself up in pop-up style. what can i do to stop it from opening.
p.s. often times it is the same new window. i've tried whitelist but it doesn't actually stop the window from opening

Answers:
okay, so i think you're saying that when you want to tab a new page, it goes in a window instead. to get all sites tabbed in one window, do this:

(1) "Tools" menu on toolbar.
(2) choose "Options".
(3) click on "Tabs."
(4) then check "Force links that open new windows to open in..."
(5) in the sub-menu, choose "The same tab/window as the link."

that did it for me. best of luck!

Go to Tools -> Options -> Tabs
Check mark the "Force Windows ..." Button
and select "a new tab" radio button

Restart the browser. You are all set
