I was using Firefox for a while and loved did, but then they did some "updates" and it's just not the same anymore. Also I still had to use IE because some sites just would not open. I got tired from switching and now I'm back on IE only. We can trash talk Microsoft until we are blue in the face, but the fact is that if you want to be connected with others, it's just easier to stick to Microsoft and it's products.
Firefox is it! You have more control over the options and it is not the system software where you would constantly be exposed.
i have both and i prefer internet explorer because it is faster and it lets me do thing that i cant with firefox
Firefox is more stable, less of a security threat, has a more active community, and has a way cooler name. Did I mention faster?
However, I use IE because the look of FireFox just drives me bats! It looks like it's slower!
Mozilla Firefox is a browser similar to IE.
It has a few nice features like tabbed browsing where you can flip back & forth between web sites.
It was said to be more secure then IE but as it's popularity increased it's security flaws started to surface.
It is a bit faster at rendering web pages but it's main drawback is that it doesn't support Active X. That means many web pages will not display properly.
That is why I pretty well quit using it. You can get it free and have both browsers on your system if you want to try it.
