I'm using mozila firefox browser, I'd like to know where is the location & directory of my favorites list.

Answers:
It depends on your operating system. It will be in your profile directory as bookmarks.html

The location in Windows XP is:
C:\Documents and Settings\ User Name\ Application Data\ Mozilla\ Firefox\ Profiles\ Random.default\ bookmarks.html

(Spaces added to deel with Yahoo!'s inability to do long lines, and their desire to replace backslashes with HTML entities)
Note that Application Data is a hidden folder.

Replace 'User Name' with your /Windows/ profile name, and 'Random' with whatever the actual folder name is. It's randomnised for security purposes.
