It used to be fine, but now when I go to myspace, my IE shuts down. It took forever, but I finally found out that BHO's on my tool bar can cause the problems I'm having right now. It says they can be removed, but doesn't say HOW. And Please, no more telling me to "switch to firefox" ...I have worse problems with it, and keep coming back to IE. I really like the toolbars that I have and would like to keep them, but they slow down my pc, and make it "crash", so any real help would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Download and run Hijack This (www.tomcoyote.org/hjt). This is the best tool for removing BHO and other Hijacks. After running the scan, post your log on the forums on tomcoyote's site for instructions on what to remove.
You can do a quick reset of web settings through IE by clicking on Tools>Options>Programs and click the Reset My Web Settings button. This will only be a temp fix if you have a lot of BHOs on your PC.
Download Microsoft Antispyware or Spybot, they have tools that let you remove BHOs easily.
You might try Registry ToolKit from http://www.registrytoolkit.com/ It has a BHO Manager that allows you to selectively remove any that you don't want.
p.s. Firefox really -is- a much better browser, but does take some knowledge to configure properly. :)
You have a couple of different options. Your free options are Microsoft Antispyware, Ad-aware, spybot search and destroy, or the yahoo toolbar w/ antispy. All of these are pretty straight forward.
Your pay options are a last resort if the free programs don't help. The best program in my opinion is webroot spy sweeper. (29.95/yr) I had big problems with spyware until I used it and haven't had a problem since. Another good one is Sunbelt Software's Counterspy (19.95/year 10 a year after)It's generally considered the 2nd best spyware remover. I use both of these programs as well as microsoft antispyware and Yahoo toolbar. It's a good idea to use more than one just in case. Good luck!
Under sources I'll provide download links for each program.
