I have mozilla firefox set as my default browser, however I need to use internet explorer to access a site. Since I've had firefox every time I open IE a box comes up that says "IE is currently running with add-ons disabled". I think thats affecting some of the things I need to do. Please help.
try tools, manage add ons, and check their status.
You need to reconfigure IE to its default settings. That should do the trick.
To re-enable a browser add-on
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools button, and then click Manage Add-ons.
3. Click the add-on you want to enable, and then click Enable.
ie is a nightmare...i would call microsoft tech support since you NEED it...i have disabled mine by renaming a text file ieexplorer and making registry changes
i had the same problem
just do as i say
restart the internet explorer
but not from the link on start menu
instead go to program files\ internet explorer\iexplorer.exe double click it walla
I don't know what you need IE for. FireFox is 100, sorry 1000 times better than IE.
