how to set cookies to prevent from keep logged out from a site?

after successfully logged into a site...the site returns me back to the login page when clicking other links in the site.

Answers:
You can not do this. The site admin sets the expiration of cookies. Usually, security cookies have an expiry date of about 20 minutes. History cookies to ID you when you come back can last upto 50 years. Best thing to do is to have your brouser remember you and auto sign you in. Let me know if you need help in setting that so it signs you in automatically.
